Billy Bonds after WHU
What did BB do after he left West Ham in 1994 aged 47? I know he had a short stint at Millwall but did he otherwise just retire?

Millwall objecting to bottom half of division 2?

Do they think that's a shit season for them?

I believe his wife died a year or two ago and his two daughters look after him. He always concentrated on his domestic life in South London with his family and doesn’t visit the London Stadium much at all these days.
I wish Bonzo all the best, one of the all time great Hammers. I expect he’s still in touch with Sir Trev these days!

The fact he didn’t manage after millwall suggests they chose him rather than him having a choice.

I love Billy Bonds, one of my favourite legends, and treated atrociously by the club and allegedly a certain Mr Redknapp at the end, but to this day I am still baffled why he chose to Manage Millwall!

Apparently, he’s my Aunt’s ballroom dancing partner at the moment. Bizarre if true.

According to wikki then yes.

West Ham were relegated in the 1991–92 season in bottom place, but the board kept faith in Bonds and he led them to promotion the following season, when they finished as runner-up to Newcastle United. Bonds guided West Ham to a 13th-place finish in the 1993–94 Premier League. He resigned in August 1994, just before the new season began, when he was replaced by Harry Redknapp. He had spells in coaching at Queens Park Rangers and Reading before making a return to management with Millwall in May 1997. He managed 53 games before being sacked by the club[11] the following year as they finished in the bottom half of Division Two.
